Two Peddler hardcovers, theVision of Desire and the Barbarian Lover, they are a matching pair, nearly identical in appearance and condition, may have come together in a box. No jackets, no box now. Both published by Hurst, one in 1922 and one in 1923. Both have a name inside and both suffer from the same original mediocre construction Hurst was famous for, all there, inside pages faded, bindins a a litte weak, corenrs rounded and some fraying on spines.

This is a reproduction of the original artefact. Generally these books are created from careful scans of the original. Eventually she is given the opportunity to erase her memory of past loves, and must decide if she will surrender or hold onto them.
